About
Matheus Theodoro
I started out shooting with my phone, on trips and in everyday life. A few years ago I lovingly stole my aunt's film camera — a Pentax K1000 that had photographed my childhood and much of our family's history. The collection has grown since.
I shoot film for its subjectivity. What comes back from the lab feels less like a record and more like a memory: feeling, impression — not the perfect, objective image of digital.
This archive is public. I print to order, framed or unframed, and I pack every order myself.
